Baku will host the International Forum of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in November this year, Orkhan Mammadov, chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA) under the Economy Ministry, said delivering a speech in a video format at an event dedicated to the Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Day in New York, Report informs.
Mammadov noted that the forum, which will be held in cooperation with the International Council for Small Business (ICSB), will become an important platform for expanding ties between local and foreign SMEs, investors and academia.
The chairman of KOBIA also informed about the support provided to SMEs in Azerbaijan, KOBIA’s activities in this area, the cooperation of the agency, which is a member of the ICSB, with the organization.
