Baku hosts meeting of Azerbaijan-Russia Intergovernmental Commission

The 22nd meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation was held in Baku on August 9, Report informs, referring to Azerbaijan’s Cabinet of Ministers.

Heads and authorized representatives of relevant state institutions of both countries also participated in the meeting chaired by Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev and Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Alexey Overchuk.

During the meeting, the parties expressed satisfaction with the comprehensive development of Azerbaijan-Russia relations based on centuries-old traditions of friendship and good neighborliness.

It was stated that thanks to the political will and reliable relations of the presidents of Azerbaijan and Russia, interstate relations are strengthening today in the spirit of strategic partnership and mutually beneficial cooperation.
