Baku. 25 November. REPORT.AZ/ Today Baku hosted Azerbaijan-Latvia business forum.
Report informs, the event was attended by representatives of about 30 Latvian companies operating in the field of food production, logistics, finance, medicine and pharmacology, tourism, education, design and architecture, the production of organic fertilizers, etc.
Speaking at the opening of the forum Chairman of the Azerbaijan Fund Export and Investment Promotion (Azpromo) Rufat Mammadov said that such events serve as the expansion of bilateral relations. According to him, in this regard, the forum provides a range of activities.
Aris Kotans, the head of the representation of the Latvian Investment and Development Agency (LIAA) in his speech noted that within days of Latvia in Azerbaijan it is planned to carry out economic and cultural activities.
Latvian Minister noted that Latvia registered 102 companies with Azerbaijani capital.
According to her, the total investment by Azerbaijani companies in Latvia is 1 mln euros.
