AZPROMO: India can be good market for increase of export of non-oil products from Azerbaijan

"India can be a good market for increase of export of non-oil products from Azerbaijan," Acting President of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) Yusif Abdullayev said at the business forum held in Baku between Azerbaijan and India.

Abdullayev stressed that the relations between the two countries extended.

"The business forum will enable meetings and discussions between the companies of the two countries. We wish to hold such meetings regularly. I think steps on mutual investments should continue," Abdullayev said.

According to him, nearly 60 companies from Azerbaijan, about 30 from India are attending the forum.

Ambassador of India to Azerbaijan Vanlalvavna Bavitlunq said that the event will be held between the two countries with the participation of the Chamber of Commerce: "The trade turnover between the two countries amounts to $930 million, of which $720 million is export from Azerbaijan. We’d like to expand economic relations. Indian companies have wide opportunities to do this."
