'Azexport' receives orders of $ 356 mln from 60 countries in 2017

Baku. 24 October. REPORT.AZ/ The Export Overview by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) for October has already been developed.

According to overview, non-oil sector exports totaled $ 1.069 bln in the first nine months of 2017 and 1,582 entities took part in export operations.

Over the past year, non-oil sector exports increased by 25%. Russia maintains its leadership in the list of the countries where Azerbaijani products are exported. During nine months of this year, export of $ 366 mln carried out to this country. Turkey ($ 223 million), Georgia ($ 99 million), Switzerland ($ 98 million) and Turkmenistan ($ 44 million) follow Russia.

Tomato remains major export product among exported non-oil products ($ 128.8 million). Gold ranks the second ($ 81.4 million), peeled nuts the third ($ 62 mln).

In September 2017, 395 entities on non-oil sector conducted export operations of $ 106 mln.

Last month, Russia ranked first again in the list of the countries where non-oil products exported, followed by Turkey, Switzerland, Italy, Georgia and other countries.

The Export Overview contains information on the export orders received by “Azexport” portal (www.azexport.az) in nine months. It was noted that in this period, $ 355.8 mln export orders were received from 60 countries of the world. Cost of the export orders in September separately made $ 47.4 million.
