Azerbaijani, UAE may establish platforms for cooperation between their businesses

Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) under the Ministry of Economy Orkhan Mammadov met with the Minister of State for Entrepreneurship and SMEs of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi in Dubai.

The sides noted that Azerbaijan and the UAE attach importance to the development of the SME sector, the support mechanisms applied and the work done in this area.

The sides exchanged views on opportunities to expand cooperation between business entities of the two states and noted the prospects for joint activities between SMBDA and the relevant ministry in this direction, as well as business opportunities in Azerbaijan, including the liberated territories. The sides also discussed the creation of cooperation platforms that will unite businessmen of the two countries.
