Azerbaijani products to presented at international exhibitions this year

With the Ministry of Economy's support, organized by the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO), Azerbaijani products have been presented at international exhibitions in three foreign countries since early 2020. Azerbaijani entrepreneurs and foreign businesspeople discussed exports and achieved significant results.

According to Report, food, fruit processing, wine, and other alcoholic beverages, hazelnuts, confectionery, tea, and other products will be shown at the Prodexpo 2020 international food exhibition held in Moscow, Russia February 11-14, 2020. A wide range of products of more than 30 Azerbaijani companies operating in various fields was demonstrated at the single country stand Made in Azerbaijan. During the exhibition, Azerbaijani companies signed contracts worth 14 million for the export of various fruits and vegetables, fruit juices and concentrates, wine and other alcoholic beverages, hazelnut kernels, and other products to Russia. So far, more than 10 million manat worth of products were exported under these contracts.

Experts regularly monitor results obtained at international exhibitions, and information is available to the public.

Officials will take measures to increase the export of non-oil products, expand the export geography of Azerbaijani products, and promote the "Made in Azerbaijan" brand. Thus, depending on the restrictions caused by the COVID-19, it is planned to participate in several international exhibitions by the end of the year.

The participation in international exhibitions and fairs with a single national stand is a support event organized to introduce and promote local non-oil products with Made in Azerbaijan.
