Azerbaijani pomegranate exporters expect tax concession from Russia

Azerbaijani Ministry of Economy sent a letter to the Customs Service of Russia, Farhad Garashov, Chairman of Pomegranate Producers and Exporters Association of Azerbaijan, told Report.

According to him, there are certain customs problems in export to Russian market: "We have raised these problems at the Ministry of Economy. The prices on involvement of pomegaranate, which is exported from Azerbaijan to Russia, in value added tax are recorded higher. The Ministry of Economy has sent a letter to the Russian Customs Service."|

He added that the letter has also been sent to Russia-Azerbaijan Business Council: "In case the problem is solved, Russia will make some concessions in value added tax."
