Azerbaijani market of interest for Russian exporters

“The potential that we have is absolutely not used in 2020. We consider the Azerbaijani market very interesting and promising for Russian exporters,” Director General of the Russian Export Center (REC) Veronika Nikishina said, as quoted by the Russian bureau of Report.

Nikishina spoke about the availability of serious financial support instruments, including various facilitated preferential terms of financing for the construction of infrastructure projects.

She also noted that plans for further economic cooperation have already been thought out.

“We have big plans for the implementation of Russian-Azerbaijani projects this year. In January this year, a large delegation was in Baku to discuss further plans. We look forward to serious results that will differ from last year in tangible benefits for our businessmen. We are ready to talk not just about direct deliveries of consignments, but discuss the development of investment cooperation, infrastructure projects,” she added.
