Azerbaijani investments in Ukraine exceed $200 mln

Kiev. 14 March. REPORT.AZ/ In 2016, volume of Ukrainian-Azerbaijani trade in goods and services amounted to 320.31 mln USD. 

Report's Ukrainian Bureau was told in department of information and communications with the public of the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

The balance for Ukraine for this period remained stably positive amounting to 231.59 mln USD.

The share of the Ukrainian export to Azerbaijan made up 86% of the total turnover. Exports of goods and services from Ukraine to Azerbaijan amounted to 275.95 mln USD, while imports of Azerbaijani goods and services 44.36 mln USD, which exceeds the same indicator of 2015 by 9.7%.

As of January 1, 2017, direct Azerbaijani investments in the economy of Ukraine amounted to 201.9 mln USD. The bulk of investment was directed to the wholesale and retail trade, as well as repair of vehicles - 85.0%, construction - 5.8% and industry - 5.5%.

The volume of Ukraine's investments in the economy of Azerbaijan reaches 2.8 mln USD.
