Azerbaijani entrepreneurs research business opportunities in Indonesia

Baku. 15 October. REPORT.AZ/ Azerbaijani delegation visited Trade Expo Indonesia 2016 in Jakarta and had a number of meetings in the country.

Report informs referring to the Indonesian Embassy in Azerbaijan, a delegation including Ambassador of Indonesia to Azerbaijan Husnan Bay Fananie and members of the "Silk Road" public association of assistance to development of entrepreneurship have met the Deputy Chairman Cheppy Wahyu Hidayat and Secretary Budi Firmansyah of AMPURI Muslim Association, organizer of hajj and umrah pilgrimage of Indonesians.

The meeting stated that about one million Indonesians visit Saudi Arabia for hajj and umrah pilgrimage every year. If Azerbaijan issues visa for Indonesian citizens in airport, they can visit Azerbaijan after religious pilgrimage to see beauties of this country.

Presentation about Azerbaijan’s potential was made to AMPURI members.

Moreover, delegates met local businessmen engaged in wood, aluminum, textile, paper packaging, sea food industries and discussed cooperation possibilities.

Azerbaijani businessmen also will visit furniture factories in Cirebon city of Indonesia.
