Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan mull joint exports to third countries

The possibilities of increasing trade between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, joint exports to third countries, as well as the export of Uzbek products using the transit and transport capabilities of Azerbaijan and the participation of Azerbaijani companies in projects implemented in Uzbekistan were discussed, Report informs citing the Ministry of Economy.

These issues were discussed during the August 31 meeting between Deputy Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan Sahib Mammadov and First Deputy Minister of Energy of Uzbekistan Azim Ahmedhajaev.

At the meeting, the importance of expanding economic ties between the countries was emphasized, information was provided on the directions for the development of ties, and opportunities for strengthening cooperation were noted.
