Azerbaijan and the UN discussed prospects for developing cooperation.
Report informs that the discussions took place on the sidelines of WUF13 during a meeting between First Deputy Economy Minister Elnur Aliyev and UN Deputy Secretary-General Amina Mohammed.
The sides noted Azerbaijan's achievements in implementing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the importance of reforms in this area.
They exchanged views on initiatives in economic development, green energy, sustainable urban planning and regional cooperation.
Azerbaijan presented projects aimed at strengthening regional economic ties, expanding transport and logistics opportunities, and contributing to the sustainable development agenda.
