Azerbaijan to launch mass production of agricultural drones

Mass production of agricultural drones will be launched in Azerbaijan as part of cooperation with a Turkish company, Director of the Center for Agricultural Innovations Anar Jafarov said at the 2nd International Agrarian Innovation Forum held in Baku.
"This company is mainly engaged in the production of drones for the agricultural sector and has reached an agreement with the Baku Engineering University to create a production site," Jafarov noted, without disclosing the name of the Turkish partner.
According to Jafarov, drones produced in Azerbaijan will be included in the list of innovative equipment of the ministry: "Local farmers will be able to take advantage of 40% state support when purchasing these drones."
