Azerbaijan sees nearly 3% growth in number of active taxpayers

As of April 1, the number of active taxpayers in Azerbaijan increased by 2.7% compared to the beginning of the year and amounted to 683,231, Report informs citing the State Tax Service under the Economy Ministry.

The number of active VAT payers increased by 3.2% during the reporting period and amounted to 35,807, the report adds. The number of active facilities (economic entities) increased by 0.7% compared to the beginning of the year and amounted to 184,610.
