Azerbaijan sees 75% growth in positive balance of foreign trade turnover

In January-August 2021, Azerbaijan’s trade operations with foreign countries amounted to $20.285 billion, up 22.4% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee (SCC) of Azerbaijan.

Exports accounted for $ 12.935 billion, up 30.9% from the previous year. Imports rose by 9.85% to $7.35 billion.

Consequently, the positive balance of trade turnover amounted to $5.586 billion, 75.1% higher than a year earlier.
