Azerbaijan sees 3% decline in positive balance on foreign trade

Azerbaijan carried out trade operations worth $11,639,000,000 in January-April 2019, up 34.1% from the previous year, Report informs citing the State Customs Committee (SCC).

In the reporting period, export operations amounted to $7,090,000,000, import operations to $4,549,000,000, respectively up 25.45% and 50.3% compared to a year earlier. Consequently, the positive balance made up $2,541,000,000, down 3.2% in comparison to a year earlier.
