Azerbaijan sees 27% decline in surplus balance of foreign trade turnover

Baku. 18 February. REPORT.AZ/ Azerbaijan’s foreign trade turnover amounted to $2,302,360,000 in January, 2019, up 33.3% from the previous year, Report informs citing the State Customs Committee.
Export operations amounted to $1,279,640,000, while import operations totaled $1,022,720,000, respectively up 23.2% and 48.5% year-on-year.
So, the foreign trade surplus balance makes $256.92 million, down 26.6% in comparison to a year earlier.
