Azerbaijan's public catering turnover soars 15%

In 2023, the public catering turnover in Azerbaijan increased by 15.2% in real terms compared to last year and amounted to 2,041.5 million manats ($1.2 billion).

Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee, that 19,511,600 manats ($11.48 million) of the annual turnover was formed in the state sector and 2.022 billion manats ($1.19 billion) in the non-state sector.

Of this, 50.6% of public catering turnover in the private sector belongs to legal entities and 49.4% to individuals engaged in entrepreneurial activity in this field.

The turnover of legal entities increased by 15.6% compared to last year and reached 1,024.1 million manats ($0.6 billion).
