Azerbaijan's foreign trade turnover positive balance up by over 40%

In January 2024r, Azerbaijan conducted trade operations worth $5.09 billion with other countries, 70.5% more compared to the same period last year, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee.

Of the foreign trade turnover, exports accounted for $3.03 billion, while imports accounted for $2.05 billion. Over the past year, exports increased by 64.8%, while imports increased by 79.7%.

As a result, a positive balance of $986 million was created in foreign trade, 40.5% more compared to the previous year.
