Azerbaijan’s consumer market grows by 4%

In 2021, the value of goods and services sold to consumers in Azerbaijan amounted to AZN53 billion, Report informs, citing the State Statistics Committee.
Under the report, this is 3.7% more at comparable prices than in 2020.
Last year, the cost of goods and services, sold by business entities of the non-state sector, increased by 3.6% compared to the previous year and amounted to more than AZN51 billion, 49.8% of which was formed due to the activities of individual entrepreneurs.
In the reporting year, a consumer spent an average of AZN440.5 manats per month, or AZN40.1 more in nominal terms.
