Azerbaijan resumes imports of coconut oil from 2 countries

In the first seven months of 2022, Azerbaijan imported 410.89 tons of coconut oil worth $1.159 million, Report informs referring to the State Statistics Committee.

Compared to the same period last year, this is 12.2% less in value and 33.2% in quantitative terms.

During the reporting period, 341.22 tons (-25.7%) of products were imported from Malaysia for $964,920 (-0.8%), from Russia - 69.07 tons (-54.6%) for $189,060 (-44.6%), from Sri Lanka – 200 kg (-16.7%) for $2,170 (+7.9%), from Turkiye – 110 kg (-21.4%) for $1,690 (-20%), from France – 40 kg for $660.

This year, for the first time in the last 11 years, deliveries were made from France.

After a break of two years and six months, imports from the Philippines resumed, after one year and four months - from Germany.

From these countries, respectively, 150 kg of products worth $640 and 10 kg worth $20 were imported.
