Azerbaijan resumes import of sugar from Switzerland

Last year, Azerbaijan imported 29,350 tons of sugar (91 times more than a year ago) worth $20.2 million (+50 times), Report informs citing the State Statistics Committee.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan bought 28,820 tons of sugar (+1,921 times) worth $19.62 million (+503 times) from Russia, 475 tons (+2,633 times) worth $384,000 (+1,067 times) from Belarus, 11.71 tons (+71%) worth $36,000 (+50%) from Türkiye, 4.3 tons (+91%) worth $33,200 (+65%) from China, and 18.4 tons (+2.3 times) worth $26,500 (+3.3 times) from Iran.

After 1 year and 10 months, Azerbaijan resumed supply from Switzerland (0.01 tons worth $140).
