Azerbaijan resumes import of refrigerators from 2 countries

Last year, Azerbaijan imported 193,303 refrigerators worth $65.2 million, Report informs referring to the State Statistics Committee.

This is 29% more than the 2022 figure in terms of value and 38% more in terms of quantity.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported refrigerators from Russia, Thailand, China, Türkiye, Poland and other countries.

Azerbaijan resumed imports of refrigerators from Malaysia (10 units worth $5,800) after seven years, and from Slovenia (9 units worth $3,800) after a year and three months.

Russia accounted for 29%, Thailand accounted for 21.8%, Türkiye accounted for 18.1% and China accounted for 13.8% of the 140,486 refrigerators imported to Azerbaijan (from 34 countries) in 2022.
