Azerbaijan increases exports to UK 16-fold

Trade turnover between Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom amounted to $3 billion 653.13 million in January-July this year.

According to Report, citing the State Customs Committee, this is $2 billion 766.841 million, or 4.1 times, higher than in the same period last year.

Over the past year, the value of Azerbaijan's exports to the United Kingdom increased 16-fold to $3 billion 476.038 million, while imports from the UK fell 73.5% to $177.093 million.

During the reporting period, trade with the UK accounted for 12.5% of Azerbaijan's total trade turnover. Exports to the country accounted for 17.9% of total exports, while imports from the UK represented 1.7% of total imports.
