Azerbaijan increases car imports by 19%

Baku. 10 June. REPORT.AZ/ In January-May 2017 year, 2.657 cars for different purposes have been imported into Azerbaijan.

Report informs citing the State Customs Committee, this figure is more by 424 or 18.99% compared with the same period last year.

During the reporting period, import of the vehicles to carry 10 or more people, including driver, increased by 4 or 12.5% and reached 36, import of vehicles mainly for passenger transportation by 301 or 15.5% and rose to 2.240, while import of trucks decreased by 143 or by 70.1% and dropped to 347, motor vehicles of special purpose by 24 or 41% and dropped to 34.
