Azerbaijan increases car import 90%

In January-August 2019 Azerbaijan imported 26,695 cars, up 90% or 12,661 cars from the previous year, Report informs citing the State Customs Committee (SCC).

According to the SCC, the number of cars with a seating capacity of 10 and more seats rose 2.5-fold to 246, passenger cars intended for passenger transportation and other motor vehicles – by 92%-fold to 24,088, vehicles for cargo transportation grew by 69.8% to 2,262, and special purpose vehicles – by 228.6% to 99.
