Azerbaijan doubles tomato exports to Poland

In January-February 2024, Azerbaijan exported 11,849 tons (31% more year-on-year) of tomatoes for $16.6 million (57% more YoY), Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan exported 11,378 tons (+30%) of tomatoes to Russia for $15.6 million (+56%), 307 tons (+42%) to Belarus for $731,000 (+62 %), 144 tons (+2 times) to Poland for $251,300 (+2.8 times), 20 tons (no supplies a year ago) to Georgia for $15,000, and 0.3 tons (no supplies a year ago) to Saudi Arabia for $3,500.

In 2023, Azerbaijan exported 141 tons of tomatoes (to 12 countries), of which 97.8% went to Russia.
