Azerbaijan discusses development of relations with D-8

Azerbaijan discussed the prospects for cooperation with the D-9 Organization of Economic Cooperation, Report informs, citing Azerbaijan's Ministry of Economy.

The discussions took place during a meeting between First Deputy Minister of Economy Elnur Aliyev and D-8 Secretary General Isiaka Abdulqadir Imam.

The meeting discussed the possibilities of strengthening bilateral relations, steps to be taken within the framework of the country's membership in the international organization, and other issues of mutual interest.

The meeting emphasized the importance of joint initiatives to achieve sustainable economic growth.
