Azerbaijan, Czech Republic mull economic co-op

A video conference has been held on the presentation of the products of the Czech Nanotechnology Industries Association, Report informs, citing the press service of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) under the Economy Ministry.

The head of the association, Jiří Kůs, talked about the main directions of the organization's activities. He noted that the main purpose of the association is to unite Czech companies operating in the fields of the textile industry, biotechnology, optics, and nanotechnology, to present the research of these companies, as well as to support the establishment of cooperation in the field of research and trade.

Acting head of AZPROMO Yusif Abdullayev informed the conference participants about the activities of the foundation, the work carried out in the direction of promoting and expanding sales of Azerbaijani products in foreign markets, and stressed the importance of establishing relations with the Czech association.

At the event, the association demonstrated its solutions for “smart cities.”

Director of the Baku office of Chech Trade Pavel Zelenka shared his opinion on the interest of Czech entrepreneurs in the business environment of Azerbaijan and the potential for cooperation with Azerbaijani colleagues.
