'Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping' CJSC hosts European Union official

Baku. 26 January. REPORT.AZ/ Head of the European Union (EU) Delegation to Azerbaijan, Ambassador Kestutis Jankauskas has visited "Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping" CJSC.

Report informs referring to the company, ambassador said that European Commission's Director General for Mobility and Transport will visit Azerbaijan in the coming days.

The diplomat noted that the organization represented by him is interested in developing cooperation with Azerbaijan in all spheres, including in transport. Noting that Azerbaijan has become an important transport hub in the region today, the ambassador also got information about the Company's activities in this area.

Chairman of the Joint Stock Company Rauf Valiyev informed about the company's activity. R. Valiyev spoke about the role of the Company in the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route and its transit opportunities.

In the end, Deputy Chairman Farhad Guliyev made a presentation reflecting the activities of the Company.
