Tbilisi. 19 October. REPORT.AZ/ In January-September of this year, the volume of trade turnover of Georgia with Azerbaijan amounted to $742,484,700, Georgian Bureau of Report News Agency informs citing the National Statistics Office of Georgia.
In the reporting period, Azerbaijan's share in the total trade turnover of the neighboring country was 8.1%. During the first nine months of the year, Azerbaijan was the fourth largest trading partner of Georgia after Turkey, Russia and China.
Georgia's export to Azerbaijan in January-September amounted to $ 342,983,400 that is 104.4% more compared to the same period of the last year. With this indicator, Azerbaijan was the first major export market for the neighboring country.
Azerbaijan's exports to Georgia increased by 10.8% year-on-year to $ 399, 501,300. With this indicator, Azerbaijan was the fourth major importer of the neighboring country.
During the reporting period, Georgia's foreign trade turnover amounted to $ 9,124,800,000. An annual increase of 20.8% was recorded in trade turnover. The export of the neighboring country has risen by 25.7% to $ 2,448,100,000 while imports increased by 19.1% up to $ 6,676,700,000.
