Avtovaz's European sales fail

In the first half of this year, Russian carmaker Avtovaz sold 741 (35.4% less than a year ago) Lada cars to the EU countries, Report mentions, referring to foreign media.
Thus, 1,147 cars were sold last year. One step above the Russian brand is the French company Alpine. The manufacturer sold only 903 vehicles in the European market during the reporting period.
The market leader was Volkswagen, with 579,612 cars, which increased sales by 26.6% compared to last year. Renault, which took second place, sold 357,217, and Peugeot took third place with 316,207.
