AmCham seeks to ensure progress in joint activities of business structures

The American Chamber of Commerce in Azerbaijan (AmCham Azerbaijan) seeks to promote the development of joint activities of business structures, Chamber's President Dayanat Sadullayev said at the Green Finance conference in Baku.

"Since the beginning of this year, the events organized by the Chamber's Committee on Sustainable Development and Corporate Responsibility on the topic of 'Stakeholder Dialogue on Climate Change' are aimed at raising awareness, promoting cooperation and joint activities of business organizations. In this regard, six successful events have been held in Azerbaijan," Sadullayev said.

He noted that in the run-up to the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), the efforts in this direction will continue until the end of the year, and the chamber aims for concrete progress.

"Adapting to the global COP29 agenda is one of AmCham Azerbaijan's strategic goals. Several projects have been implemented in this regard. I especially want to note the launch of AmCham Azerbaijan's sustainability guide, designed to support the private sector," Sadullayev said.
