Baku. 24 November. REPORT.AZ/ The week of Turkish cinema has been launched in Baku.
Report informs that famous actors as Gizem Karaja, Burak Ozcivit, Turkish presidential adviser Yalchin Topchu, Turkish embassy employees attend the Week of Turkish cinema held in Baku for the fourth time in a row.
Speaking at the event, Yalchin Topchu stressed the importance of such events in the Turkic-speaking countries. He noted that 'we all were brought up in different craddles, but we have the same mothers'. Speaking about the Karabakh conflict, he voiced hope that the Turkic world would celebrate each other's victories in the future.
Then the premiums were awarded.
The festival was opened with the film 'Guller' about the life in a Turkish village of the 1990s and the love of a schoolboy for his classmate.
The festival will last until November 27 at the Nizami Cinema Center. The film participating in the festival - "Seni Seviyorum Adamım", "Hay" (animation movie), "Anons", "Can Feda" - will be demonstrated at 16:30 and 18:30 every day.
