Baku. 9 December. REPORT.AZ/ Chairman of Nakhchivan Supreme Assembly, Vasif Talibov inked decree on awarding the Azerbaijani famous composer.
Report informs, in accordance with V.Talibov decree, composer, professor Tofig Ahmad Agha Bakikhanov was awarded the 'Honored Art Worker' of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic title.
Tofig Bakikhanov awarded this title for services in development of music culture.
Tofig Bakikhanov was born in 1930 in Baku city. He is great-grandson of historian Abbasgulu agha Bakikhanov, and son of the tar player Ahmad Bakikhanov.
