Union of Artists of Azerbaijan starting "Week of fine arts"

Baku. 24 March. REPORT.AZ/ Today an exhibition of works of artists for the "Soltan Muhammad" prize has opened in the exhibition salon named after V. Samedova of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan within the framework of the "Week of Fine Arts" project.

Report informs, the exhibition, which was held with the joint organizational support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan demonstrates works of about 50 artists.

Chairman of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan, folk artist Farhad Khalilov addressed speaking about the significance of the exhibition.He also noted the perfection of the demonstrated works on the meaning and their content. Expressing gratitude to each participant of the contest, the chairman wished them creative successes.

Notably, within the framework of the "Week of Fine Arts", which will last until March 28, it is planned to open various exhibitions in a number of leading exhibition halls of the capital.
