Turkey awards Jahangir Novruzov as best theater director

Baku. 19 December. REPORT.AZ/ Azerbaijan's prominent theater and film actor, director, honored art worker Jahangir Novruzov won the "XVII Direklerarası Seyirci Ödülleri" theater prize in Turkey.

Report informs citing the press service of the State Committee for Work with Diaspora.

He was awarded for directing "Ah, bu evlilik..." play, consisting of A.P. Chekhov's small dramatic works, staged at the Adana Metropolitan Municipality Theater. The prize was presented to J. Novruzov at a ceremony in Adana.

Notably, Jahangir Novruzov was awarded the "Tiyatro için Emek Ödülü" in the past theater season.

J. Novruzov, who has been living in Turkey since 1995, works at the State Conservatory Theater Department at Çukurova University in Adana for 20 years.
