Personal exhibition of Azerbaijani artist Hüseyn Haqverdi takes place in Baku

Baku. 20 November. REPORT.AZ/ A personal exhibition of Azerbaijani artist Hüseyn Haqverdi has been held in Baku. According to Report, 28 paintings and several sculptures were exhibited at the residence of the EU Ambassador to Azerbaijan.

Head of the EU mission in Azerbaijan Kestutis Jankauskas said during the opening of  the exhibition that it became a specific continuation of the FANTAZIYA festival of cultural heritage held in Baku on November 1-10.

According to the Ambassador, Haqverdi's compositions demonstrate the cultural heritage of Baku to a great effect.

Through Haqverdi's works, the viewer discovers the big world of colors and forms. He is an Honored Artist of Azerbaijan since 2005. 

Hüseyn Haqverdi is equally proficient in sculpture, mosaic, graphic work and painting. His sculptures decorate Sangachal terminal, Catholic Cathedral and Ajemi Park in Baku, among many others.

Musical group Dihaj performed at the opening of the exhibition.
