Heydar Aliyev Center among best modern art museums of CIS

The Russian tourist portal "Tour Stat" has compiled a list of the best museums and centers of modern art in the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). The ranking also includes the Heydar Aliyev Center in Baku, Report says, citing Sputnik.

The company made a list based on a study about the popularity of cultural sites and their offers for online tours and virtual excursions.

However, the top five museums and centers of contemporary art in the Commonwealth countries do not include cultural objects of the Russian Federation.

National Center for Contemporary Arts in Minsk ranks first in popularity, while the Heydar Aliyev Center in Baku is on the second place in the list. The Palace of Peace and Reconciliation (Pyramid) in Nur-Sultan closed the top three.
