New list of all-time greatest movies compiled through a poll of 20,000 readers of the Empire magazine. They gave the first place to the "The Godfather” (1972).

George Lucas’s The Empire Strikes Back came second, and The Dark Knight third.

The Shawshank Redemption, Pulp Fiction and Goodfellas also feature in the top ten.
