Grammy winner Patti Austin to perform at Heydar Aliyev Center

Baku. 2 October. REPORT.AZ/ Famous American jazz player, Grammy winner Patti Austin will give a concert at the Heydar Aliyev Center.

Report informs, concert will be held on November 15.

The singer will present the album For Ella, a nomination for the Grammy Award, dedicated to the memory of the star of the world jazz, legendary singer Ella Fitzgerald.

Notably, 2017 year marks the 100th anniversary of "First Lady of Jazz" Ella Fitzgerald, and Patti Austin's Baku concert is also dedicated to this anniversary.

Patti Austin has presented 17 solo albums to the audience so far. Patti Austin was awarded Grammy prize in "Best jazz vocal album" in 2008 for Avant Gershwin album.
