French instrumental trio INITIATIVES to perform in Baku

Baku. 2 October. REPORT.AZ/ French instrumental trio INITIATIVES will hold a concert in Baku. Report informs citing the French embassy to Azerbaijan that the band will perform on October 20 as part of the Baku international jazz festival.

The repertoire of the ensemble with pianist Jean-Christophe Cholet as a frontman cooperating in different years with such outstanding musicians as Kenny Barron, Charlie Mariano, Lee Konits, is composed of jazz melodic reflections.

The compositions 'Cahire', 'Middle of Nowhere', 'Xingang East Road' filled with abstract improvisations invite the listener to take a voyage into the atmosphere of mystery and self-immersion if not the Oriental world.
