Festival of National Clothing held in Nakhcivan

Baku. 8 September. REPORT.AZ/ Nakhchivan has hosted the Festival of National Clothing.

Report informs that the Ancient Musical Instruments Ensemble of the Nakhchivan State Philharmonic, the dance groups and other bands of the Nakhchivan State Philharmonic, National State Children's Philharmonic perform folk songs and dances at the festival arranged in the 'Nakhchivanqala' Historical and Architectural Museum Complex.

The actors of the theaters operating in Nakhchivan showed with various compositions.

Different clothing and painting exhibitions as part of the festival will feature handworks and museum expositions dating back to the ancient times. The demonstration of palace clothing of the period of khanates will add color to the event. The participation in the festival of young people from different parts of Azerbaijan in traditional clothing with books in their hands caused a particular interest.

Along with local residents, the festival also involved tourists and guests participating in the international conference 'Nakhchivan, Capital of Islamic Culture'.
