Baku. 19 January. REPORT.AZ/ CinemaPlus cinema network will show film Bloody January free on January 20.

Report informs, the film is directed by Vahid Mustafa Yev.

Nebahat Çehre, Faig Mirzayev and Azer Aydemir play main roles.

The film deals with the tragedy of January 20, 1990. According to the story line, two brothers - communist Najaf and revolutioner Mehdi continue their struggle and each one has own truth. Their mother Khadija is in the center of the drama.

Moreover, a film Xüsusi təyinatlı İbad (Special force Ibad) dedicated to the hero of the Karabakh war Ibad Huseynov will be demonstrated on the same day.

Filmmaker is Natig Novruzov. The film stars Elchin Mammadli and Manaf Dadashov.

According to story line, when the first military clashes begin in Nagorno-Karabakh, Ibad serves in the Soviet Army at a military unit in Amur. Here, gets information that Soviet army bring troops into Baku and that a large number of his countrymen have been killed. Together with other servicemen from Azerbaijan, I. Huseynov goes on indefinite hunger strike in order to enter the native land. Despite heavy pressure of the command, they do not stop the hunger strike. As a result, the leadership steps back and takes an unprecedented step - reserves the servicemen until the end of their service. Thus, Ibad manages to return to Azerbaijan.
