Baku hosts exhibition of Portuguese artist Carlos Mota

Baku. 17 November. REPORT.AZ / Museum center hosted the opening of the exhibition of famous Portuguese artist Carlos Mota "Found and findings” in Baku.

Report informs that speaking at the event chargé d'affaires of Portugal in Azerbaijan Jorge Fonseca noted that he was extremely happy to organize such an event in Baku.

He spoke about Mota’s awards and achievements, as well as expressed hope that the exhibition would attract the attention of Baku residents.

In his turn, the artist himself said that he is in Baku for the first time and very happy to organize an exhibition in such a wonderful city.

Mota's works are presented in the style of free spirit and everyone can interpret them in his own way. His paintings reflect the present, but, at the same time, differ in energy and dynamism.

Paintings of Mota were presented at exhibitions in various leading countries of the world, and are in a private collection of the Planalto Palace in Brazil.

Notably, the exhibition of the Portuguese artist in Baku will last till November 23.
