White tiger kills zookeeper in Japan

Baku. 9 October. REPORT.AZ/ A zookeeper died after an attack of a white tiger. The tragedy happened at a zoological park in the southwestern Japan city of Kagoshima on October 8 evening.

Report informs citing TASS that, according to Kyodo, Akira Furusho, 40, was found collapsed and bleeding from the neck in a cage by a colleague after the Hirakawa Zoological Park closed for the day at 5 p.m. He was confirmed dead after being taken to a hospital.

Police are investigating how the zoological park looks after the white tigers.
