Uzbek blogger: 'Baku is so beautiful that you don't want to leave'

Asal Saparbayeva, a well-known blogger from Uzbekistan, a participant in the Uzbekistan-Kazakhstan-Azerbaijan-UAE-Qatar international auto marathon, said that she was pleasantly surprised by the beauty of Baku,

In an interview with Report, the blogger with a million audience said that she often traveled around the CIS countries and expected to see something similar to other post-Soviet countries, adding that "it's so beautiful here that you don't want to leave."

Asal Saparbayeva (known in social networks under the nickname Littos) is one of the seven participants in the auto marathon. Seven travelers have to drive their cars to the final point of the route in Qatar until December 2022. The main goal of this car marathon is to popularize the culture of Uzbekistan, to introduce people to Uzbek traditional costumes and cuisine, and thereby encourage them to come to Uzbekistan.

"We arrived in Baku via Aktau (Kazakhstan). It so happened that we could not come by ferry, the ferry transported our cars, and we flew by plane. Next, by car, we will go to Iran. We have been working on this project for a long time with the Ministry of Culture of Uzbekistan," she said.

The next point of the route will be Iran, then Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar.
