Turkiye’s total earnings from tourism to reach $46 billion by year-end 

Turkiye plans to increase the total revenues from tourism to $46 billion by the end of 2022, Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of Turkiye, Nadir Alpaslan, said at the 2nd meeting of Azerbaijan-Turkiye Joint Commission on Tourism, held in Baku, Report informs.

“The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has created difficulties related to tourism both in Turkiye and around the world, reducing tourism by 80%. Turkiye has done a number of things to restore the sector. We intend to develop tourism relations with Azerbaijan and increase the mutual flow of tourists,” the deputy minister said.
