More than 40 thousand tourists from Germany are required to leave the Balearic Islands and other territories of Spain in the next week because of the situation over coronavirus, Report says, citing Tourprom.
Spain is excluded from the list of safe countries to visit due to the increase in cases of COVID-19. Currently, German citizens are only allowed to visit the Canary Islands.
All arrivals from Spain will be required to pass an infection test and go into quarantine until the results are received, or present a certificate of negative tests made within two days.
Tour operators in Germany, in connection with this decision, have withdrawn flight programs to Spain. Staying there, tourists can come back early.
